The College of Professional Studies is Indiana Tech's division for working adults and online learners, built around accelerated degree completion in business, criminal justice, and information technology rather than a traditional four-year, on-campus experience. It operates through evening classes, regional education centers, and online formats aimed at students balancing school with jobs and family, with compressed terms designed to let working adults finish faster than a conventional semester calendar allows.
This is not a residential college experience — there is no campus life, athletics, or traditional student body to speak of. It exists specifically for adult learners who need flexible scheduling and credit for prior coursework or experience, and prospective students should evaluate it on those terms rather than comparing it to a standard four-year college.
