Mid-Atlantic Christian University is a small Christian college in Elizabeth City, in northeastern North Carolina, rooted in the Restoration Movement tradition of Christian churches/churches of Christ. It combines a biblical-studies core with career-oriented majors, aiming to prepare graduates for both vocational ministry and marketplace careers rather than assuming every student is headed into a pulpit.
Business, education-related, and other applied programs sit alongside ministry and biblical-studies degrees, each still built on shared coursework in scripture and theology, so a student in a more secular-facing major graduates with the same grounding in biblical studies as a ministry major.
