Overview

Lander University is a public university in Greenwood, South Carolina, in the state's Lakelands region. It operates at a smaller scale than South Carolina's larger public universities, keeping a small-college feel within the state system.

Academics

Nursing is Lander's best-known program, alongside education and business, with small classes across the university supporting a more personal academic experience than a typical state school of similar cost.

Campus & student life

Greenwood is a small town, and Lander functions as a close, contained campus community rather than a destination drawing students from far outside the region.
