Presbyterian College, in Clinton, South Carolina, is a small liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), organized around a service-oriented motto and identity that runs through campus life as much as the classroom. Its small size belies a notably strong record in pre-health and pre-law preparation.
PC is known for rigorous pre-med and pre-law tracks with strong professional-school placement relative to its size, and unusually for a college this small, it houses its own school of pharmacy, giving PC students an on-campus pathway into a doctoral pharmacy program. Class sizes are small and faculty access is close throughout.
The Clinton campus is compact and traditional, with a strong Greek life presence and Division I athletics, the Blue Hose, anchoring much of student social life. Scotty, the Scottish terrier mascot, reflects the college's Scottish Presbyterian heritage.
PC's process is holistic, with an emphasis on service and character alongside academics, consistent with the college's Presbyterian-affiliated, motto-driven identity.
Pre-health and pre-law graduates place well into professional programs, and the on-campus pharmacy school gives PC pre-pharmacy students a distinctive, direct pipeline that most small liberal arts colleges cannot offer.
