The Baptist University of Florida is a small private university in Graceville, in the Florida Panhandle, affiliated with the Florida Baptist Convention. It is organized explicitly around Christian vocational preparation rather than a broad liberal arts mission.
The university's programs center on ministry, missions, church music, and Christian education, preparing students for direct service in churches and religious organizations. Class sizes are small, and much of the curriculum is built around practical ministry training alongside coursework.
Campus culture is closely tied to church-service life, with chapel and ministry activities woven into the residential experience in a small, tightly knit community.
This is a mission-specific school best suited to students who already know they are pursuing ministry, missions, or church-related vocations rather than a general undergraduate degree.
