Overview

Ottawa University-Kansas City is a branch location of Ottawa University, a Baptist-heritage institution headquartered in Ottawa, Kansas, built specifically to serve working adults in the Kansas City area rather than traditional-age residential students. It offers accelerated degree completion through evening classes and online coursework.

Worth knowing

Programs run on a cohort-based, accelerated calendar geared toward adults balancing work and family — common majors include business, education, and human services — rather than the residential four-year experience found at Ottawa's main Kansas campus, so a prospective student should expect a working-adult classroom culture rather than typical undergraduate campus life.
