Ohio Christian University, in Circleville, is affiliated with the Churches of Christ in Christian Union and built around an evangelical framework that shapes every program. Alongside a small residential campus, it runs a substantial online and adult-education operation that serves a much larger population than the traditional undergraduate body.
Ministry, business, and human-services programs are the core academic offerings, taught with practical career preparation in mind rather than research emphasis. The online division extends these same programs to working adults and nontraditional students well beyond the Circleville campus.
Prospective students should understand OCU is really two institutions in one: a small residential college and a much larger online adult-education arm, and campus culture and pace differ substantially between the two.
