Arizona Christian University is a private evangelical university in Glendale, in the Phoenix metro area, teaching every major from an explicitly conservative Christian worldview. The university has grown quickly since relocating to its current campus.
Education, business, and ministry are ACU's most established programs, and the worldview-integration approach means general-education and major coursework alike are taught through a conservative evangelical lens, not confined to a religion requirement.
An unusually large share of ACU students compete in intercollegiate athletics relative to the university's size, giving campus life a strong athletics-and-team identity alongside chapel and campus ministry activities. The Phoenix-area location offers access to a large metro without the campus itself being urban in character.
ACU's process is access-oriented and mission-driven, looking for applicants comfortable with the university's explicit evangelical worldview commitment across the curriculum.
The worldview integration here is comprehensive and conservative specifically — a stronger and more particular commitment than "faith-based" alone conveys, worth confirming fits before enrolling.
