Wesley Biblical Seminary, based near Jackson, Mississippi, is an evangelical seminary rooted in the Wesleyan-Methodist holiness tradition. Its primary work is training pastors and ministry leaders at the graduate level, through master of divinity and related degrees, with a smaller undergraduate ministry program alongside it. The seminary's theological identity draws on Wesleyan and Methodist doctrine, distinguishing it from Reformed or broadly nondenominational evangelical seminaries.
Undergraduates enroll into an institution whose center of gravity is graduate theological education, so the undergraduate ministry program is smaller and more tightly integrated with seminary faculty and coursework than at a standalone Bible college.
