Overview

Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus sits in Teaneck, New Jersey, straddling the Hackensack River just minutes from the George Washington Bridge and Manhattan. As part of the state's largest private university, it serves a highly diverse, career-focused student population drawn from across the New York metropolitan area.

Academics

Nursing, business, and psychology are established undergraduate strengths, and the campus carries a notably international flavor thanks to FDU's network of campuses abroad, which brings a substantial international student population and study-abroad pathways most colleges its size can't match.

Campus & student life

Proximity to Manhattan shapes daily student life — many students take advantage of internships and part-time work across the river, and the campus itself serves both residential and commuting students from the surrounding New Jersey and New York suburbs.

Getting in

Admission is holistic and accessible relative to the more selective private universities in the region, with FDU's global campus network sometimes a specific draw for students interested in international study built into their degree.

Worth knowing

The FDU global-campus connection, including sister campuses abroad, means students here have more built-in international study options than a typical regional private university, a distinctive feature worth exploring for students interested in global business or international affairs.
