Kettering College is a small Seventh-day Adventist health-sciences college located on the campus of Kettering Health's flagship hospital near Dayton, Ohio. It trains students almost exclusively for clinical careers — nursing, sonography, respiratory care, and physician assistant studies — inside a working medical center rather than a conventional academic campus.
Nearly every program is a direct pipeline to a specific clinical role, and clinical rotations benefit from being physically embedded in the hospital rather than requiring travel to an outside placement site.
Adventist practice — including Sabbath observance and an emphasis on whole-person wellness — shapes campus culture, and the hospital setting means students are immersed in a healthcare environment from day one rather than encountering it later in clinical years.
The literal embedding in a working hospital is Kettering's defining feature — students should expect a health-career-only program list and a genuinely faith-integrated Adventist campus culture, open to non-Adventist students but not secular in character.
RequiredHigh school diploma or GED; no specific subject/unit distribution published — admission based on cumulative GPA (2.5 minimum) and ACT/SAT scores
