Overview

SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary is a small Pentecostal Christian institution in California, focused specifically on preparing students for ministry, church leadership, and pastoral work rather than a broad liberal-arts path. Instruction is Bible-centered throughout — coursework centers on Scripture, theology, and ministry practice — and is offered both on-site and online, making it a practical option for students already active in church work who need a flexible format built around that commitment.

Worth knowing

The school's identity is explicitly religious and vocational: coursework centers on Scripture, theology, and pastoral preparation rather than general-education breadth, so students should expect a curriculum built around ministry formation rather than transferable liberal-arts coursework. The online-plus-on-site format is worth noting for students who need flexibility around church or ministry commitments already underway.
