Overview

The Bayamon campus of Inter American University of Puerto Rico is part of a private, Christian-heritage university system with campuses spread across the island, serving students throughout the San Juan metropolitan area. It has built a particular identity around technical and engineering-oriented programs, including aviation-related studies uncommon among Puerto Rico's private colleges, which sets it apart from the system's other, more general-studies-oriented campuses.

Academics

Engineering and technical fields are the campus's clearest strength, complemented by aviation-related coursework that gives students a specialized pathway not widely available on the island. As part of a larger university system, students can draw on shared resources and course offerings across Inter American's other campuses.

Worth knowing

The aviation-related programs are a genuine specialty that sets this campus apart from most other options in Puerto Rico and the wider Caribbean region.
