The Governor's Scholars Program brings roughly 1,000 of Kentucky's top rising seniors to live and study together for five weeks across three Kentucky college campuses, with seminars, small-group discussion, and a residential community built around wellness and citizenship. Students are nominated by their high school and then compete in a statewide review of academic records, activities, volunteer and work history, recommendations, and a writing sample. Selected scholars attend entirely free of charge.
