Sadie Nash's Summer Institute is a free, six-week program for high schoolers in New York City and Newark built around workshops on identity, social justice, and community leadership, meetings with local leaders, and field trips, held on weekdays across five borough and Newark sites. It's open to young women and gender-expansive youth currently enrolled in high school in NYC or Newark who haven't completed the Summer Institute before; there's no academic or test-score requirement, but spots are limited and awarded through an application and group interview. Participants who complete the program are eligible for a $450 stipend.
