Penn Medicine's OER Summer Internship Program gives Philadelphia-area high school students six weeks of hands-on bench research in a Penn faculty lab, mentored by trainees or staff, plus a seventh week of clinical exploration and weekly college-readiness and professional-development sessions. Interns are hired as temporary Penn employees and paid an hourly wage. Important: the application is only made available to students who have already completed Penn Medicine's own PARS/PASH or AEER feeder program -- it is not a direct open application for students outside those programs.
