TASS brings high school sophomores and juniors together for a free, five-week college-level seminar on a campus, choosing between two tracks: Critical Black Studies or Anti-Oppressive Studies, both drawing on history, literature, politics, and art. Telluride Association covers all costs, including tuition, books, room and board, and field trips, and offers travel assistance plus additional aid to help replace lost summer-job income for students who need it. Admission starts with a written application; students selected to advance also complete an interview.
