ARTEFFECT is a free, juried student art competition open to high schoolers (grades 9-12, including rising freshmen and recent graduates). Students choose an approved 'Unsung Hero' innovator from the program's directory, create original 2D or 3D artwork about them, and submit it with a 500-1,000 word Impact Statement and process photos through Submittable; AI tools are barred at every creative stage. The current cycle carries an Innovation Generation theme and offers more than $20,000 in prizes.
