The Met's High School Internship Program pairs students in grades 10 and 11 from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut with museum professionals in fields from curatorial and education to imaging, design, and social media. Interns work one-on-one and in small cohorts, build professional skills, and connect with peers and staff; it isn't limited to students with an art background. Applications are reviewed by a museum-wide committee, and finalists attend an in-person group interview.
