CBYX (Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange)
Summer program · U.S. Congress and German Bundestag, administered by CIEE and other partner organizationsCBYX is a fully funded scholarship, sponsored jointly by the U.S. Congress and the German Bundestag, that sends American high schoolers to Germany for a full academic year with a host family and local school. Airfare, insurance, tuition, and room and board are covered, plus a $150/month stipend for personal spending. Admission is competitive: an online application is followed by an interview round before finalists are named.
