Cleveland-area high schoolers spend a week of lab-safety and research-technique training followed by six weeks of full-time (35 hours/week) hands-on cancer research alongside Case Comprehensive Cancer Center scientists, plus daily lunches covering science and college-prep topics and a closing presentation. The program is free and pays a $2,500 stipend on completion. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be 14 or older when research activities begin.
