HMMT is a student-run math tournament held twice a year, drawing close to 1,000 students per tournament including top scorers at national and international olympiads. Teams of high school students apply during a late-summer registration window; spots are allocated by lottery, and selected teams travel to Cambridge for a day of individual and team rounds. The November 2026 tournament is at Harvard on November 7 and the February 2027 tournament at MIT on February 13.
