National Japanese Exam (NJE)
Competition · American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ)This standards-based, ACTFL-aligned exam tests Japanese proficiency by level for middle school, high school, and college students. It is free for students whose teacher is an AATJ member and a flat fee for others. A teacher registers the class online; the exam is not open to individual student sign-up.
