Hoya Saxa Weekend, hosted by Georgetown's Center for Multicultural Equity & Access alongside GAAP Weekend, invites admitted high school seniors to live with a current student and experience campus life from Thursday afternoon through Sunday. Need-based funding covers airfare or bus/train tickets, on-campus or hotel housing, meals, and ride-share vouchers for students who would otherwise face financial barriers to attending; spots are limited and awarded first-come, first-served. Georgetown says the weekend especially benefits applicants who have had less exposure to college than their peers, though it is open to any admitted student.
