Current sophomores and juniors at one of about 15 eligible Durham, NC public or charter high schools spend eight weeks doing full-time research in a Duke neuroscience lab, alongside professional-development activities, and receive a stipend and daily lunch. Applicants must be at least 16 by the program's start, have reliable daily transportation to Duke, and be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent/legal resident.
