National German Exam (AATG)
Competition · American Association of Teachers of German (AATG)Administered to over 15,000 high schoolers each year, this level-based exam gives individual diagnostic feedback alongside a regional and national prize program. A German teacher registers students through AATG's online system; students of non-member teachers can still take it for an added sponsor fee. Levels 2-4 register in the fall; Level 1 registers in early spring.
