A fast-paced, buzzer-style science and math quiz bowl run by the U.S. Department of Energy, testing biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. A teacher forms a team of four or five students and registers for your state's regional Science Bowl; win your regional and your team travels to Washington, D.C. for the National Finals, all expenses paid. Winning high school teams have historically earned cash prizes for their school's math and science department.
