National Latin Exam (NLE)
Competition · American Classical League / National Junior Classical LeagueStudents take a level-appropriate, multiple-choice Latin exam (Introduction through Latin VI) administered by their own teacher, in school or online through the exam platform. Scorers earn certificates ranging from Cum Laude to Maxima Cum Laude, plus medals and book awards depending on level and score. A student cannot register individually — a Latin teacher must set up the exam for the class.
