Holy Cross runs two Perspectives Overnight sessions each fall, giving seniors and a guest a hotel-based overnight visit with campus tours, current-student connections, and a look at Holy Cross's Jesuit, liberal-arts community. The travel grant covers airfare, bus, or train tickets, airport transportation, hotel rooms for the student and guest, and all meals during the event. The program is aimed at students who may face barriers to affording a campus visit, such as limited financial resources, rural or urban Title I schools, or being among the first in their immediate family to attend college, though Holy Cross welcomes any senior with genuine interest regardless of background. Applying requires a transcript and short essay responses; a parent or guardian must accompany the student.
