Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is replacing its former High School Summer Internship Program with a newly designed High School Summer Immersion Program starting in summer 2027, for graduating seniors from the Cincinnati area. The prior version paired seniors with a mentor in a pediatric specialty for an eight-week, part-time, paid research placement. For the new one-month program, the application opens November 1, 2026 and closes February 1, 2027; full program details, cost, and stipend for the redesigned format have not yet been published.
