Grow Detroit's Young Talent (City of Detroit)

Grow Detroit's Young Talent places Detroit residents ages 14-24 in a paid summer work experience (up to 120 hours total) at about 8,000 spots citywide (last year's actual total, restated as this year's goal), preceded by work-readiness training. You must be a permanent Detroit resident authorized to work in the U.S. The 2026 application ran March 13 through May 15; watch gdyt.org for the 2027 opening.
