Summer Science Program places high school juniors in small research teams at one of 13 college campuses, working full days on an original project in astrophysics, biochemistry, bacterial genomics, or cell biology. The program fee covers tuition, housing, meals, and local transportation, and need-based aid can cover the full cost plus travel for families that qualify. A limited stipend is also available for students who would otherwise need to work over the summer. The application itself is free, and financial need is never a factor in admission decisions.
