Notre Dame's Introduction to Engineering Program (IEP) brings rising seniors to campus for two weeks to explore engineering majors, live in Notre Dame residence halls, and get a feel for the university before senior year. There's no application fee, but admission is genuinely competitive: Notre Dame first evaluates each application, and those who meet initial criteria advance to a first cut, at which point they're asked to submit a transcript for further review. The $2,850 program fee covers registration, field trips, meals, and housing in Notre Dame dorms, plus an ID card for campus dining and facility access; no financial aid or scholarship information is published for this program. Summer 2027 session dates and the application deadline will be posted on the program's site in mid-October 2026.
