The Beaver Works Summer Institute pairs you with MIT and MIT Lincoln Laboratory engineers for four weeks of project-based courses in areas like autonomous systems, machine learning, radar, quantum computing, and cybersecurity. You first complete an online prerequisite course; how you do there is the main factor in getting into the in-person July session at MIT. The in-person program is commuter — you arrange your own housing in the Cambridge area, since MIT doesn't provide it. Cost is free for families with income and assets under $200,000, and $3,000 for everyone else, not including housing.
