Caltech Up Close is an all-expense-paid fall visit for rising high school seniors focused on students of exceptional promise who may have had limited access to college-preparation resources or to highly selective STEM institutions. The visit includes exploration of JPL facilities, lab tours, mock lectures, and conversations with current students and faculty. Applicants submit two essay responses and unofficial transcripts through the online portal; parents and guardians cannot attend programming.
