Our Beloved Community brings high school seniors to Lafayette College for an overnight visit each October, with meals and lodging provided for all admitted students and bus transportation available from major hub cities like New York for those who need it. The program aims to introduce students from a multitude of backgrounds to Lafayette, and applicants must attend high school in the continental United States. Every OBC applicant also receives an application-fee waiver for Lafayette, whether or not they're selected for the visit. Applying takes biographical information, a GPA and unofficial transcript, and a short essay about a community the student belongs to.
