MITES Semester (MIT, formerly MOSTEC)

MITES Semester, formerly known as MOSTEC, is a free, fully online, selective program for U.S. high school juniors combining an intensive live summer session (Mon-Thu, June-early August) with a lighter fall continuation (weekly Sundays plus select evenings, August-December) of STEM coursework and mentorship. MIT covers all program costs and strongly encourages applicants from underrepresented, low-income, first-generation, and underserved backgrounds, while considering all eligible applicants regardless of race or ethnicity.
