INSPIRE High School places students aged 16 and up in paid, on-site summer research internships at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, mentored by faculty on basic, translational, or clinical projects. Interns learn the research process from study design and data analysis to literature review and presenting at lab meetings and journal clubs, and join workshops on skill building, networking, and career exploration. The program hosts 25 interns; applications are accepted during a one-week window in early February, decisions come in April, and the program starts in late June.
