Careers in Science (CiS) Intern Program (California Academy of Sciences)

Careers in Science is a multi-year, year-round paid internship for San Francisco Unified School District students who enter as rising sophomores or juniors and continue through high school graduation. Interns are paid above minimum wage to conduct fieldwork and facilitate learning experiences for visitors, attending trainings on Saturdays during the school year and weekdays in summer. Along the way, interns build science-communication skills, meet STEM professionals, and get help preparing for college.
