Los Angeles Black High School Graduation Scholarship

The Los Angeles Urban League awards a $1,000 scholarship to Los Angeles County high school seniors heading to a college, university, trade school, or vocational program, presented as part of its LA Black Graduation celebration. Applicants need a 2.5 GPA or higher, a 300-500 word personal statement, one letter of recommendation, a transcript, and a resume. The 2026 cycle closed May 31; watch the Los Angeles Urban League's site for the 2027 deadline.
