American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas General Education Scholarship

The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas awards $500 scholarships to graduating Texas seniors who are the child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a veteran who served in World War I or any conflict since December 1941. Selection is based on character, citizenship, financial need, and goals, not on Auxiliary membership. Applicants submit a resume, three letters of recommendation, and two years of grades. Awards are paid directly to the college the student attends.

Eligibility

DemographicsApplicant must be a Texas resident and the child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a WWI or post-1941 U.S. Armed Forces veteran; no Auxiliary membership required.
