Funded through the estate of Joseph Emory Sirrine, this scholarship goes to graduates of Greenville County's public high schools; graduates of charter schools within the county are not eligible. Recipients are chosen using a weighted formula that combines class rank, financial need shown on the FAFSA, and SAT or ACT scores. The initial $2,000 award can be renewed for up to three additional years of undergraduate study, with reapplication required each year.
