The University of Delaware's premier undergraduate scholarship, endowed by the Unidel Foundation in memory of Eugene du Pont. It is invitation-only: students admitted to the UD Honors College who show strong leadership potential and intellectual curiosity are invited to campus to interview for it and UD's other top scholarships. Winners receive a four-year scholarship covering full tuition, standard on-campus room and board, and comprehensive health and student-center fees (funds may also be used toward UD study abroad), plus $625 each fall and spring semester for textbooks and a one-time $5,000 grant toward an approved enrichment activity. There is no separate scholarship application -- eligibility flows from Honors College admission via UD's November 1 Early Action deadline.
DemographicsRequires admission to University of Delaware's Honors College; by invitation only, no separate application.
Also includes a $625/semester book stipend and a one-time $5,000 enrichment grant; a four-year award.
