The Nebraska Press Association Foundation offers $2,000 scholarships to Nebraska high school graduates with a serious interest in community-based print journalism or agricultural communications. Your college can be in Nebraska or out of state. The application requires a written essay, a recommendation letter from a school administrator or counselor, and a second recommendation from an unrelated party (employer, clergy, coach, etc.), with extra weight given to applicants who've worked on a school or community newspaper.
