The Georgia Transplant Foundation runs a family of academic scholarships for Georgia residents connected to organ transplantation: recipients, their dependents, siblings of a recipient age 22 or younger, parents of a recipient, and living donors. Most funds award $1,000, renewable annually for up to four years while a student stays enrolled. A personal statement and two letters of recommendation, at least one academic, are required.
