Student entrepreneurs pitch a real or planned business, advancing from a local NFTE-affiliated classroom, camp, or afterschool program through regional and national rounds held each fall. 2025 regional-round winners received prizes of $3,000 to $3,750, and NFTE's related World Series of Innovation awarded a $5,000 grand prize the same year. There is no entry fee; students compete through their local NFTE program rather than applying directly.
