South Dakota Masonic Grand Lodge Scholarship

The Grand Lodge of South Dakota Masons awards several $2,000 scholarships each year to South Dakota residents heading to a public or private college, university, or technical school, with preference given to those attending school in-state. You'll need to show both financial need and strong academic ability, and either you or a close relative (living or deceased) must belong to the Masonic fraternity. The award can be renewed annually for up to five years if you stay in good standing, and applying takes two teacher reference forms plus a transcript rather than a written essay.
