Texas Farm Bureau awards several scholarships each year to graduating Texas high school seniors whose family holds a Texas Farm Bureau membership in good standing. Each of TFB's 13 districts awards one $5,000 Honorary/Memorial scholarship, three $3,000 District scholarships, and one $1,500 Young Farmer & Rancher scholarship (for students intending an agriculture degree); statewide, there is also a single $1,000 Dick Mitchell Memorial Scholarship for Student Success Series - Thrive participants and an uncapped $500 Jana Middleton Memorial Scholarship awarded automatically to any senior who completes the full Student Success Series. Most awards require a completed online application, high school transcript, and a GPA form signed by a school counselor, but no essay or outside recommendation letters; disbursements continue only while the recipient keeps TFB membership and good academic standing.
