Students in Junior Achievement's JA Company Program start and run a real student business under a local volunteer mentor, then compete for JA Company of the Year, a national competition for top JA companies. Recent national winners have received per-student scholarships for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The event is held annually each spring or early summer, most recently as part of 'Future Bound by Junior Achievement,' held June 8, 2026 in Boston, MA.
