MDA's College Scholarship Program, funded by the Numotion Foundation, grants merit-based awards to full-time undergraduate students diagnosed with an MDA-supported neuromuscular disease, recognizing leadership and community engagement rather than financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents attending an accredited school with a financial aid office, and become a free MDA member as part of applying. First-time recipients can receive up to $5,000; recipients who reapply in a later year are eligible for up to $2,500, since awards are not renewed automatically. Now in its third year, the program named 21 scholars for the 2026 cycle.
